Play’s Plot A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of the greatest works of William Shakespeare.

This play is about four lovers (Hermia, Lysander, helena,and Demetrius) and their crazy, confusing way of loving.

The play begins when Theseus, the duke of Athens and Hippolyta, the Queen of the Amazon are talking about their wedding the preparations for the celebration after the wedding. Then, a nobleman called Egeus (Hermia’s father) comes to Theseus to complain about his daughter. He brings Hermia, Lysander (who is in love with Hermia), and Demetrius (the one who Egeus wants for Hermia) with him.
