A League of Their Own• When World War II threatens to shut down

Major League Baseball, candy manufacturing magnate Walter Harvey (Garry Marshall) decides to create a women's league to make money. Ira Lowenstein (David Strathairn) is put in charge of public relations and scout Ernie Capadino (Jon Lovitz) is sent out to recruit players. Then it's about a team, a baseball team which consisted of only girls with Jimmy(TH) as their coach. Jimmy had been a famous baseball player and was a drunkard when he took the new job.

Brief Introduction

• The first sight of the girls on him was his pissing in front of them. He slept on the game time, spited the saliva barbarically, and blamed the girls loudly on the field, because he unbelieved girls could also play baseball. It's not his fault, but the time's. He didn't wanna change the girls, but was changed by them instead. I liked the change. The league attracts little interest at first. In one memorable scene, Lowenstein tells the Peaches that things aren't going so well and that the owners are having second thoughts about keeping the league going beyond the 1943 season. Jimmy couldn't. He died so early.

Brief Introduction

• With a Life magazine photographer in attendance, he asks them to do something spectacular. Dottie obliges. When a ball is popped up behind home plate, she catches it while doing splits; the resulting photograph makes the cover of the magazine. More and more people show up and the league becomes a success. Many years later, Someone held a museum about them. Many of their Peaches teammates are reunited at the opening of a women's section in the Baseball Hall of Fame. Unfortunately, some of them couldn't have the chance to see the big posters with them in on the walls. Jimmy couldn't. He died so early.
