Who doesn’t love surprises?!

Join us for a three-location* party

with drinks, heavy hors d’oeuvres,

and dessert, plus film, live theater,

and musical entertainment!

We start the evening at the Delta

College Planetarium and Learning

Center, then “pop“ over to two

mystery locations, each offering a

unique party experience!

(*) We will be walking between locations.

No transportation provided.

Proceeds benefit a-la-cARTe

Explore the Secrets of Gravity at the Planetarium The Delta College Planetarium & Learning Center is

proud to debut a brand new production for families

and adults called “The Secrets of Gravity: Walking in

the Footsteps of Albert Einstein.” Winner of 8 film

festival awards, this exceptional 360° full dome

experience is about Albert Einstein’s discoveries,

the fascination of our universe and the belief in our

dreams.

The story follows Luke, the young magician’s

apprentice, who is more interested in the secrets of the universe than magic spells. So, one night he

sneaks into the Albert Einstein Museum, where he meets ALBY, a small, clever but rather quirky

robot who knows all about Albert Einstein and his theories. ALBY takes Luke on a magical journey of

discovery through time and space, during which they not only uncover the secrets of gravity but also

learn much about friendship and imagination. For Luke and ALBY both have secrets of their own.

The program premieres on January 20 and plays through March 31, 2018 on Saturdays at 2:00 pm.

Bay City Players Presents Classic Comedies The cold months of winter may be upon us, but fear not. Bay City

Players will be performing two heart-warming comedies to get you

through. CALENDAR GIRLS is a charmer concerning a group of women

in a small rural town who want to raise money for a local hospital. But

the question is “How?” In a moment of madness, these 40ish to 70ish

women decide to pose for a pin-up calendar. Most people love the idea,

but some “up-tight” community members start to raise a fuss and—well,

that’s when life gets really interesting. ON GOLDEN POND is a classic American comedy of love

and changes in a not-so-typical family. Norman and Ethel are married 49 wonderful years, but what

may be their last year summering on Golden Pond may turn out to be their most meaningful when

daughter Chelsea shows up with two new men in her life. Love, spirit, humor—it’s all there ON

GOLDEN POND.

The State Theatre

The State Theatre is jam packed with fun shows of all kinds!

The Hells Half Mile Film Series continues, along with the

funny comedians from the Bob and Tom Shows. Some of the

major concerts scheduled include “The VOICE" favorite Laith

Al-Saadi performing for the first time at the State Theatre, as

well as Matthew and

Gunnar Nelson doing a

"Tribute to Ricky

Nelson" (their father).

Also, our friend Jim Belushi will be back along with his board

of comedy members.

Don't miss out on any shows! Check the calendar for dates

and times, and lets "MAKE A DATE AT THE STATE".

Bay Concert Band On Tuesday, February 27, the Bay Concert Band will present the sixth

installment of the “From Stage and Screen” series entitled “A Truly Mixed

Bag”. The program features a range of music including: the musical “Man

of La Mancha, Elmer Bernstein’s film score from the “The Magnificent

Seven”, “Berceuse and Finale” from Stravinsky’s ballet “The Firebird” and

other great music moments from the stage and screen.

The concert begins at 7:30 pm at the Bay City Central HS auditorium.

Admission is $5 with students sixth grade and under admitted free.

Doors open at 7:00 pm.

Saturday, January 20, 7:00 pm State Theatre, Bay City $27 reserved seating Available online at www.statetheatrebaycity.com or call the Box Office at (989) 892-2660 Watch Rob in action and you’ll agree he is one of the very best stand-up comedians in the country. A sketch comedy player on the Fox Sports Net Show, "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" and "Last Call with Carson Daly," Little uses his training from the world famous Second City Comedy Club to cre-ate routines that are inventive, funny, spontaneous, and completely unique. He headlines clubs and colleges all over the country, has appeared in national television commercials and on such shows as Comedy Central's “Distraction,” Fox News and SiTV's “Latino Laugh Festival.” He also earned a role on the CBS network summer hit series, “Fire me Please.” Rob’s recently released 3rd comedy DVD/CD is another testament to both his talent and status as a comedic force.
