Crossing the Threshold

The hero crosses from the known world to an unknown world where he will become a hero

–Marlin goes into the open sea and leaves the coral to find Nemo–Hercules goes to Thebes to become a hero so he can return to Mt. Olympus–Harry goes to Hogwarts

homeland when his journey is complete Marlin takes Nemo back to

the coral Hercules returns to his

place in heaven, but leaves with Meg
