I, I i A goat was presented to the clinic with h history of nor.mal delivery of one kid and ion of two limbs of second kid withciut ign in delivery. On examination per the fetal limbs but no otherfetalpart palpable.The foetus was delivered with traction after lilbrication. The foetus *". " Amorphus globosus ;ter. Such monsters are rare and consist _r_ou.nd or spherical masses comprising of -outer skin enclosing a mass of conneciive l, soft tissUe and fat and have no body The delivered monster had a spherical ; alongwith two smalllegs attac'hed to it . Amorphus globosus ls considered to a.n imperfect zygote of dizygotic twins et a1.,1963), the etiology of such being unknown but considered to pu.e to chromosomal defects(Leipold and nnis, 1986). Such monsters are ieported cows, mares, ewes and goats(Roberts, 71). A case of such monster is on record the buffalo (Phogat at at., 1992). The rnster is usually seen attached .to the dizygotic twlns (Robe rts, loc.cit.). Contrary to such reports, the present monster was seen separate from the previously delivered normal live male kid.
