TRANSCRIPT
A garden for all seasonsNestled in the heart of rural Essex, enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this garden with its eclectic mix of styles from traditional to modern. With lots of space to think and breathe you’ll find something to delight and inspire at every turn. Highlights include the Dry Garden with its fantastic range of drought resistant plants, and the Hilltop Garden with its roses and herbaceous borders. There’s also a Global Growth Vegetable Garden showcasing vegetables from around the world.
Family fun and eventsRHS Hyde Hall is made for fun and adventure with our Higgledy Hyde woodland tower and garden explorer trails. The garden is also an inspirational backdrop for a wide range of events and exhibitions that the whole family can enjoy.
Food, drink and shoppingOur passion for outstanding food won us the Field to Fork accolade at the Essex Life Food & Drink Awards so you can be assured of fresh, seasonal produce, much of which will be straight from our vegetable garden. In the Clover Café you’ll find a tempting selection of light lunches to complement the existing range of sandwiches and cakes. In spring 2018 you will also be able to try our new Gardeners’ Rest restaurant overlooking the Dry Garden and rolling countryside. So whether you’re after a quick drink or leisurely lunch, it’s a great place to relax and unwind.
In the RHS Shop you will find delicious local artisan food, books, cards, toiletries, gardening sundries and a fabulous range of kitchen accessories. You can also pick up seasonal plants in the RHS Plant Centre to give your garden colour and interest all year.
