a day in the life of regen-it story
DESCRIPTION
This presentation describes the process of a Regen-IT people workshop. Regen-IT requires 6 teams to take responsibility for the regeneration of neighbourhoods in a virtual community. They have to deal with the differing issues of crime, transport, health, community wellbeing, economic prosperity, unemployment, housing, and the environment. Regen-IT has been delivered in housing associations, commissioning events and LAA engagement programmes.TRANSCRIPT

Regen-IT Overview
Regen-IT is a learning-simulation about regeneration, affordable housing, and building sustainable communities.
Regen-IT represents different organisations with differing needs and drivers:
The Housing Developer needs to make money! The Local Authority and LSP need to regenerate and develop a sustainable community. The Housing Association needs to improve and expand its stock. Neighbourhood Management needs to ensure local people can prosper and get involved.
They all need to work together to get a high score!
“The workshop encouraged thinking
about the bigger picture.”
