SOMEWHERE

A life ago, alas time to know,what tributaries engulf the past,

with oceans wide to many destinations,yet artifacts echoes loud to the wind!

Whispering, calling, evoking heartbeats,bursting for freedom like a leaf carried –

away, as chaff but to destination unknown.They fly, they hover, and twirl, spin and glide,

To the orchestra in concert with the music,such is the life of billions of leaves.

Betwixt ionosphere, stratosphere, atmosphere,where entities exist beyond conception,

visualization and comprehension!That black hole in the mind,

open and explore it, somewhere – between time, distance, and space,

we discover possibility and the reason,to be or not to be!

LOVE IS

Love is like the hope diamond,sparkling and rare,

to the furthest galaxies not – found everywhere,

beyond hopes expectation tofeel, embrace, and dare.

To love beyond boundaries,societies have placed, and

feel a heart with happiness,and not be common place.

When flesh come upon flesh,and two souls become as one,

basking in the aura of love, and empowered by the sun!

There are three lights in the world,the bright sun, the moon, and you!You can become kings and queens,mayors, a governess, or president,perhaps a space shuttle Astronaut!

And speak many tongues so fluently.Yet build buildings that tower to the sky.

You will know pain, sorrow, joy, and peace,these emotions you will employ.Hello our blessed to morrows.

Thank you girl I salute you boy!A scientist, a doctor, a computer whiz,we love you all cause you’re our kids!

There’s no mountain that you can’t climb,no vale steep, river deep, nor ocean wide,parents, teachers, and pastors shall inspire,

pushing you higher to the other side!The grass is green now greener,wow, that sky so royally blue,

somehow God fits in the midst of it all,twinkle, you’re that star shining through!

UNCEASING

Tonight’s sky like the Fourth of July!Crackle, boom, bang, the thunder,in concert with lightning, I ponder!The infinite much to high form me,

I think, and see, feel, and touch.But ever high in the sky,there is no reality for me!

Lightning comes and thunder roars,daylight flashes in the darkness,the night beautifully silenced,except for the echoes on high.

Alas, the grass adorns her Spring green coat,and Winter’s drab brown coat diminished.

Hearing the constant patter of the rain,on trees, rooftops, and window sills.The sky lights up, roars, and cries,

and Mother earth comforts her,as they fade blending into midnight!

FAREWELL SWEET PRINCESS OF WALES

God sent his angel to your country.Yes, oh England enriching the soil,

her views sky high with brotherhood,so laborious would be the toil!

Her hair kissed golden by the sun,those eyes as a lake royal blue,her heart big as an ocean wide,I introduce Princess Di to you!

She touched the sick who had aids,sacrifice twas the order of most days.Humbled intellect her beauty soared,

her death pierced hearts with a sword!Mission accomplished you can’t erase,

her impact on the world that smiling face.My lady embellished America’s soil,regal our Princess worthy of the toil.Covenant Prince William and Harry,

your mother’s free spirit lives forever,her Christian deeds and Christ like life,

we should all strive hard for this endeavor!That sari adorns Kensington’s Palace,

and her love hovers in the air,flags all over the world half-staff,

hatred and prejudice not allowed there!Greed and lucre has rushed you to your grave,

your life to some was just a story.The guilty will pay but here’s your crown,

for Jesus accepts your story in glory!

CHRIST, THE SON OF THE MOST HIGH

Wow, when the sky burst open above,heaven’s angels sung of undying love,how God’s grace shall bless the earth,heralding to man the Savior’s birth!

That star of David it shone so bright,even in the East it gave great light!

The emperor sent the Magi way afar,to seek and find the Bethlehem star.

In a stable the Prince of Peace was born,folklore cries cold but twas a Spring morn.

Yes, it was tranquil that majestic night,when God sent the truth along with light!

The shepherds gaze and were affright,a vision from heaven a Holy sight,

Emmanuel, Jesus born King of kings,stepped down from heaven on earth to reign!

O’ Israel, salvation is free,for God gave Jesus the victory,

give thanks and praise and look in the sky,alleluia Jesus, Son of the most High!

(CHORUS)When you think of love and look above,

and watch stars twinkle in the sky,remember Bethlehem praise Calvary,

and Christ Jesus Son of the most High.
