What is the maximum number of guests the Terrace ballroom can accommodate?We usually suggest a maximum of 200 people in a traditional dining set-up, but we’re the creative type and for larger groups are happy to explore other options.

Can we supply our own food and / or beverage? We do not allow food prepared off site to be brought in. Your Event Manager will be happy to discuss any of your special needs with our creative culinary team to ensure your vision becomes reality. Our liquor license requires that we purchase and serve all alcohol. Our amazing Pastry Chef will assist you in designing a cake, or can recreate one you may have already fallen in love with.

Do you off er special guest room rates for our friends and family?Absolutely! From our freshly updated Laurel Wing or our ultra-luxurious Erickson Wing, we have your guests covered no matter the budget. Visit our website to see images of the diff erent room types available. Not just a place to sleep, this is the place to stay.

What taxes or surcharges should I plan for in my budget?All prices are subject to a service charge, administration fee and applicable taxes. Inquire with your event contact for details.

Can we have live music for the ceremony, reception or dance?Yes, live music is permitted until 11:00 pm in the Terrace Ballroom and until 1:00 am in the Spirit Rooms.

Does Inn at Laurel Point provide decorations?No, the Inn does not own any décor. Although we feel the room needs little décor, your Event Manager would be happy to recommend local professional decorators who are familiar with our unique space and can assist you with special touches. Ask your Event Manager for ideas on what has worked well in the past.

What is a SOCAN & Re:Sound fee? SOCAN is the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada. They collect a copyright licensing fee on behalf of the original artist(s). Re:Sound is the Canadian not-for-profi t music licensing company dedicated to obtaining fair compensation for artists and record companies for their performance rights. Inn at Laurel Point is legally required to charge the SOCAN and Re:Sound royalty fees at any event where music is being played. The fee is included in our Iconic Wedding package price.

What is your cancellation policy?We understand that everything may not always go as planned and unforeseen circumstances may force you to postpone or cancel your wedding. Should you need to cancel your wedding, you will forfeit all deposits paid. If you cancel within 30 days of your wedding, you will be responsible for 100% of estimated charges.

How do we secure our date?A minimum non-refundable deposit of $1500 must be received with your signed agreement to confi rm your wedding date. Further deposits of $4000 9 months prior to your wedding, and $4000 4 months prior to your wedding will be required.
