• Griffin refers to the national email systems of the 5 Eyes (5E) Nations (US, Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand)

• Pegasus/Griffin currently supports US-AUS, US-GBR, US-CAN and 5 Eyes -- email & transport

• CCEB changed the name of information sharing among the 5E to Pegasus in FY10

• Pegasus describes current and future 5E information sharing initiatives among international systems

• Improved Connectivity Initiative (ICI) is a concept of improving information sharing among the CCEB nations

• Multiple DISA organizations are providing services under the ICI umbrella – REL DMZ, MNIS PMO, NS, PRNOC, Australia

• The REL DMZ is the transport used to provide 4-Eyes information sharing through to SIPRNet – no bilateral network 5E capability

– Improve coalition information exchange capabilities– Explore and experiment with emerging capabilities or – Examine resolve deficiencies in existing applications, systems or equipments. – * Note: An initiative is an experiment, test, demonstration or other activity

utilizing the CFBL Network infrastructure and services.

• Access potential solutions through the utilization of agreed upon phased assessment procedures.

• Report the shortfalls of those assessments.• Recommend the means to foster improved combined CIS

(communications and information systems) for the explicit purpose of promoting near term concepts and acceptance of solutions.”
