Into -Eis -Baptism changes our state or position from whatever it was before. It transfers us out of
sin and into salvation. Where is salvation? In Christ. How do we get into Christ?
Through Baptism. Nothing could be plainer.
Into -Eis always meant “in a direction toward and
right on into the object for which it was headed.” It invariably had that same meaning in every
instance.
