Christmas promises. The Christmasseason is a time when the worldcelebrates Jesus birth. If your

family has thought of ways to share the realmeaning of Christmas with others, ask Jesusto give you specific Christmas promises thatyou can claim for boldness and the brightnessof His love to share with others.

11Christmas is about giving. During mealtime, or someother time of family discussion, talk together aboutwhat gifts you would like to give Jesus this Christmas.

Next, write these ideas down on pieces of papers, and placethese papers in an envelope on your Christmas tree or in some

other promi

nent place, so you can remind yourself of the ideas throughout the Christmas season.

Christmas kindness thermometer.On a meter-long piece of paper drawa thermometer. Divide it into four

sections, and draw thin lines to divide eachof these sections into 10. Label each of thefour main sections from bottom to top: cold,warm, hot, and sizzling. You can decoratearound your thermometer with picturesand illustrations. During the month of December, each time someone does akind deed, color one little section on thethermometer. Make it a goal to reach the topor as high as possible by Christmas Day.

Hot or ice-coldchocolate and theChristmas tree.

Make hot or ice-cold chocolateor herbal tea, and ask everyoneto bring his or her favoriteChristmas story or Christmascarol. Sit around yourChristmas tree, and share theChristmas goodies.

Christmas cardwriting. As afamily, write up a

list of those you want tosend Christmas cards to.Put your heads togetherto come up with a unique,creative, and perhapseven an artistic Christmasgreeting from your familyto your friends.

like to spend a day in heaven with Jesus. Think aboutthe many fun things you would do to celebrate Hisbirthday together with Him.

e Think about what it was like when Jesus was preparingto come to earth. What do you think were some thingsHe may have done before leaving heaven?

Christmascookies +caroling.

Bake a batch of cookies;you can listen to favorite

Christmas carols as you do.Place the cookies in niceplastic wrap, or in some otherfestive presentation, andspread Christmas joy by giving your neighbors a Christmascookies + caroling experience. (It might help to call yourneighbors, or those youll be caroling to in advance, so theyknow to expect you.)
