a boolprop monster mash challenge: chapter 6 pt. 1
TRANSCRIPT
Children grow so fast while I keep standing still, time for me has stopped moving and I live in unending life, and Jason my heir will have to deal with the same thing. How
long can I stay on this mortal plane before my grip on it is lost forever?
Kylo grew into a boy who loved to cook, in fact he was a Natural Cook. I do find it ironic that he would choose that particular trait since as a ghost he doesn’t need to eat.
Nevertheless, he is a good boy and I will encourage him in whatever he chooses to pursue as an adult.
Thera decided to make use of her Genius trait and become a Computer Whiz , it will be nice to have her around since I am hopeless when it comes to computers. She can fix
them while making fun of her old mother who doesn’t know how to use a mouse.
Aaron grew up and decided he wanted to be an Angler which is perfectly suited to his Loner trait. He told me that there’s nothing like the stillness of the early morning dawn
and a lake filled with fish, to soothe the soul. If he could become a poet he would be famous.
And my unofficial sixth child Kelios, grew up to be quite the Genius . As an alien he credits his superior mental prowess to being able to see things and understand them
faster than a normal person could. He and Thera get into a heated debate over things like that. I am happy he’s adjusted so well to life in Moonlight Falls.
I wish I could say I was happy to see my youngest and final baby grow up enough to start school…Elvira chose a strange trait, Never Nude. I asked her how she planned to
have a shower without being nude and she turned as red as a cherry. I guess I wasn’t going to get my answer after all.
Now that they were older, the four of them all went down to the Fall Festival together. Elvira was too young to go with them but she found other things to do at home with
Kelios. He had decided not to go with the older ones because Elvira would be lonely. Kelios and Elvira were closer than the others were, it made me happy to see them spending time
together.
I don’t see the appeal of an eating contest when three of the four don’t actually eat…but they seemed to enjoy the challenge, or maybe the boys just wanted to outdo their sister.
It does however have a strange appeal, you can’t seem to look away…
Jason won, I think it was because he’s the oldest and he had to show his triplet siblings the deal. He also won a week’s worth of key lime pie as a prize. He said he was going to
eat it all as proof of his victory.
Thera then challenged her brothers to an apple bobbing contest, I think she wasn’t going to let the boys win, I’m so proud of my little girl. She’s standing up to her brothers.
Jason and Aaron conceded defeat and decided to do something else, although Kylo wasn’t going to let Thera win by default so he stuck it out. He lost but it was all in good fun, he
let Thera have her moment.
It was getting dark and I was about to go and get them, Jason insisted that he wanted to try the Spooky House out after dark. He said it was scarier when it’s dark out. He came back with a new
gnome too, her name was Cackling Nackerbell, odd but it was appropriate for a witch gnome.
At least now that all of them were old enough, we could do things together as a family like go ice skating on the brand new pond we made in the backyard. We had so much space back there that turning some of it into a pond where we could all enjoy the cold weather
just seemed to be an appropriate use of the space.
Even family snowman making time, I was shocked to see my boys making Reaper Snowmen though. But since they are ghosts I guess it fits. Branch made them an igloo to
hang out in I worried that they might be cold sleeping outside but then I remembered that as ghosts we don’t feel cold or hot. Branch told me that the igloo and the body heat of
the family who are not ghosts, provided the ideal balance of heat and cold for comfort.
I thought it was adorable that Kelios made an alien snowman, it stands out so much from the others that I had to take a picture of it for the family album. I think it will be nice for
future family members to look back on and appreciate.
Kelios continued to impress me with is alien powers, he could transmute an object into something else with only the power of his mind. Here he was turning a gold ingot into something else, he could only tell me that he was going to either improve its value or
change its very nature into another thing.
He turned the gold into Plutonium, which is much more valuable than gold he assured me he could do even better than that.
He turned the Plutonium into an uncut gemstone!
