Thank you for being part of this lifesaving work and for helping to make Utah no-kill.

We’ll close the lifesaving gap together. It will take all of us — including you — to make Utah County no-kill. Here’s how you can help:

Adopt your next pet. When you adopt, you’re saving a life. Find your new best friend at one of your local shelters:

Volunteer. Help save lives by donating your time. Volunteer to help the pets at SUVAS or NUVAS.

Support community cats. In Utah County, community (aka stray and free-roaming) cats are the most at-risk pets in shelters. You can support initiatives that save the lives of community cats by volunteering to help with trap-neuter-return programs or caring for a community cat colony. And, most important, please call your local city leaders and encourage them to support lifesaving trap-neuter-return (or return-to-field) in Utah County. Here’s who you can contact:

Spay or neuter your pet. Spay/neuter keeps pets from entering shelters in the future and helps your pet live a healthier life. Visit the Best Friends Spay/Neuter Clinic in Orem for low-cost spay/neuter and vaccines.

Visit bestfriendsut.org for more information.

Donate. Every gift, big or small, helps to save lives. Make a gift today to give homeless dogs and cats a second chance. You can also drop off pet food donations at your local shelter.

Spread the word. Let your friends and family know about homeless pets and Best Friends. Inspire them to save lives, too!
