Volume I : EnglandTony Hughes
A ‘A Wargamer’s Armorial’ is the first of a series of books for wargamers published by TTT.
It isn’t a book ABOUT Heraldry but a book OF Heraldry.
In its 35 pages 27 are full colour plates with over 800 different arms drawn and reproduced
with the wargamer in mind. Carefully researched and selected arms from every English
armigerous class from King to Esquire.
Short text sections explain some aspects of Heraldry and its use in Medieval England but the
main content is the arms themselves - mostly taken from contemporary Rolls of Arms and in
full colour (see the examples on page 2 of this sampler).
The booklet is ink-jet printed on quality, heavyweight paper and wire bound for ease of use.
