    V. Summary

As a summary of this technical report, the researchers

can conclude that in the area we have surveyed, there are

different people living in that area regarding theireducational attainment, monthly income and other

    factors.

As observed, the total average occupation of the

samples taken is mostly blue collar job or unemployed.

This is due to the lack of education and this can affect the

    monthly income of each family.

We can also see that in that specific area the familiesliving there are mostly nuclear. There are only few

numbers of extended family for the reason that the area

in likely to be defined as a rural area.

    I. Abstract

    On September 15, 2011, a group from ACCO1A conducted a

survey on Brgy. Duquit, Mabalacat, Pampanga. The purpose of

the survey was to identify the demographic, socio, and economic

profile of the place. It is a summary of the household

composition, age distribution, status, religion, educational

attainment, employment, and monthly income of the people who

live in the place. There are 30 households which are composed of

156 numbers of people that the researchers have surveyed.

    III. Social Profile

Sociology is the study of society. It is a social sciencea

term with which it is sometimes synonymouswhich uses variousmethods of empirical investigation and critical analysis to develop

and refine a body of knowledge about human social activity.

    III.1 Religion

Religion is a collection of cultural systems, belief systems,

and worldviews that establishes symbols that relate humanity tospirituality and, sometimes, to moral values. Religions have

narratives, symbols, traditions and sacred histories that are

intended to give meaning to life or to explain the origin of life or

the universe. They tend to derive morality, ethics, religious laws

or a preferred lifestyle from their ideas about the cosmos and

    human nature.

The table below shows the frequency and the percentagedistribution of the religion, among Catholic, Iglesia ni Cristo,

    Born-again, and other religions:

The table shows that the place has a greater number of Catholic

people. We can observe that the religion INC is the second

highest percentage regarding the religion, for the reason that

there is an INC church in that barangay.

The graph below shows the percentage division among Catholic,

Iglesia ni Cristo, Born-again, and other religions:

education attained by the people in the area:

    Table III.2.1: Educational Attainment

    EDUCATION FREQUENCY PERCENTAGE

Out of School Youth 5 3.21%

    No Education attained 3 1.92%TOTAL 156 100.00%

The highest percentage is the still studying for the reason that

there are more people that have ages between 10 and 20.

The graph below shows the percentage distribution of the
