How to get the SMFF-areas on a map
I have now tested a way to get the SMFF-areas with numbers on a map.
I am using the map from Länsstyrelsens WebbGIS.
http://ext-webbgis.lansstyrelsen.se/jonkoping/webbkarta/
To get the area borders you need to activate some map layers (Kartlager) in the right hand list.
Press the arrow in front of ”Kartlager” and you will get the following:
Tick off ”Naturvård” and ”Samhällsplanering”:
Press the arrows for ”Områdesskydd” and ”Riksintressen, MB kap 3.
Then tick off the four boxes as shown below:
Scroll down and remove all ticked boxes and just tick the one as below:
Then you need to download the file “smff-all_1.gpx” to your computer.
You can find that file in WWFF or SMFF Facebook groups.
In the map you will find the toolbox in the upper left corner and open it.
Klick on “Lägg till GPX” and add the down loaded file.
After that the map will looks like this:
All the red dots corresponds to an SMFF-area.
By pointing on the red dot the SMFF-number and name will appear. The national characters will not appear correctly.
The gpx-file will change time to time, so you may need to reload it
