DIRECTIONS: Many issues divided the north and south before the Civil War. Perform a Popcorn-Reading session with your group of today’s reading to complete PART I of the diagram below. Then STOP, and discuss the issue to see if you can work out a compromise between each side, something that would satisfy both the North and the South.
