Busy months lie ahead asthe band embarks on aconcert programme whichmeans engagements everyweekend throughout Tay side and north Fife as wellas having to prepare forHarrogate.
One event the residentsof Tayport will be lookingforward to will be on Sunday, June 21, when theband will parade aroundthe town showing off their
haul of trophies an d rounding off the centenary year.
This will be followed by aconcert in the grounds ofthe council offices.
Although the band is
self-supporting, relyingon local fund-raising an dmembership subscriptions,members are alwayswilling to help out with
o t h e r fund - ra i s i ngventures.
TIB have already beeninvolved in raising over£400 for the Tayport Com
munity Sports and ActionGroup and will be playingat the Harbour Gala onSunday, May 10, which is afund-raiser towards thebuilding of a new sportscentre in Tayport.
Band members are ofal l ages and playingability an d come from asfar off as Arbroath andAnstruther but experienced members ar e stillbeing sought.
