The Vision of ESCAPE

To intervene in the lives of those who fall between the cracks of

existing education, economic, family and religious resources & help

them successfully navigate to a positive life experience through

meaningful Christian relationships.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you

gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed

clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in

prison and you came to visit me.” Matthew 25:35,36

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not

depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

These are the two scriptures that ESCAPE was founded on. These

verses get down to the core of loving and taking care of others who may not

know the hope, the love, or the teaching of Jesus. Our Lord was always

giving hope by feeding, inviting, clothing and healing the “have nots.” By his

teachings, he trained them to become better people. We are called to be a

light in this dark world and go out and make disciples. How do we do this?

By being the hands, feet and voice of Jesus.

ESCAPE is growing and has become a guiding light for the at-risk kids

in our community. We ask for your continued support by providing

funding to hire teachers, to provide three meals a day, mission trip support,

or help with keeping the lights on! We thank God for the many blessings that

ESCAPE has been given and thank you for your partnership with us. GOD

BLESS!

If God is calling you to help in our teen and young adult ESCAPE pro-

gram by being a tutor or mentor and/or donating items such as bibles, com-

puters, educational supplies etc. Please contact Willie Watt at

gro.tuo-epacse@eilliw or call (616) 396-4481.
