90 mm cover lens All modules have a pattern-free lens (Ø 90 mm) when

viewed from the front. The combination with further headlight and light modules

is possible. Variation possibilities in equipment and retrofi tting through

standardised body or trim cut-outs.

Arrangement and installation As far as permitted by the fi tting requirements, a variable

arrangement of the 90 mm modules is possible on the vehicle front end.

In some cases, use behind an additional cover lens is possible. (Individual case examination and additional type approval tests are a must!)

Standardised distances between holes for the attachment points for low beam and high beam headlights of all model series.

Features and advantages of the whole series

Advantages of the Premium series compared to the Classic series

Practical advantages: Low beam and high beam in one module (Classic series

requires two modules). The reduction to one module allows an additional lighting function to be installed at this spot.

Integrated mechanical switchover permits simplifi ed setting of the tourist solution (to symmetrical light distribution) for transit journeys in countries with left-hand traffi c (or vice versa). Conversion work on the headlight (as with the 90 mm Classic) is no longer required.

Optimised ventilation system - Nito element (textile membrane) prevents the penetration of dust (diesel soot) and elementary humidity into the headlight – Light output does not diminish over the vehicle lifetime.

With the attachment system (in reinforced version) the headlight meets the tough testing requirements of trucks and construction vehicles.

Water-protected standard plug-type systems for bulbs, xenon ballast and the actuator for switching between low

beam and high beam light.

Lighting technology: When switching to high beam, the switching shutter

operated by the actuator uncovers the full light distribution: Light distribution and brightness of the low beam remain unchanged – long-range illumination extends the existing light cone.

Enlarged lens Ø 70 mm (Classic only has 50 mm lens) and the innovative refl ector geometry correspond to the lighting technology used in current headlights in the automotive industry.

Excellent illumination: Broader beam pattern, longer range, improved homogeneity and intensity.

One single module generates low beam and high beam: Instead of separate refl ectors for low beam and high beam, one single projection module with one light source (halogen bulb or xenon lamp) is suffi cient per vehicle side.

Low beam and high beam from one single light source: With the aid of a movable shutter, the high beam share of the projection module is shaded when the light is switched to low beam. The remaining low beam illumination complies with legal requirements, and does not dazzle oncoming traffi c.

Standard design size for Bi-halogen and Bi-Xenon®: Makes a straightforward choice between Bi-halogen and Bi-Xenon® equipment possible.

Comfortable expansion of illumination:When switched to high beam, the light distribution and brightness of the low beam remains unchanged – long-range illumination extends the existing light cone. The consistent illumination at close range results in a very comfortable extension/shortening of the visual range for the human eye when changing between low beam and high beam.
