through various age groups especially during puberty as the hormones are in fierce play.

A few reasons for acne to occur are-oily skin type, dandruff, stress and hormones. But worry not, they can be well controlled and remember, worship your body!

Drink lot of water No matter which season it is, if you
are prone to acne, see to it that you consume at least litres of water and in summer if you can, try drinking more. Water acts as a natural body cleanser.

Keep the dirt away
Wash your face every 30 minutes with tap water because sticky face invites dust with settles in the skin pores leading to the formation of acne.

Keep away oily food You already know the reason! Not
completely, one requires 20ml of oil daily but a control is always good.

Steam up You must have taken steam to clear
up your nose and throat. Along with that there is other small
but significant functions of steam. Boil water and take steam as it helps
in reducing acne by opening the skin pores thus cleansing them.

Avoid using moisturizer
Since your skin already has too much oil it doesn’t need added moisturizer.

is by not touching it. The more you tease it, the more you
touch it or press it, more will it flourish.. which obviously isn’t something you want to happen.
Also don’t dare to break it, because it will leave a mark and a depression too.. making the face look disoriented.

Multani mitti, rosewater and sandalwood facepack
All these ingredients have cooling properties which will help in opening the pore and cleaning them.
Mix one tablespoon or multani mitti with half teaspoon of sandalwood powder and one teaspoon of rosewater into a thick paste and apply all over your face concentrating on your acne.
Wash off with cold water after 15 minutes. Do it repeatedly every alternate day.

Sugar and salt scrub Both sugar and salt are great
cleansers. Mix teaspoons of each together and add milk to it, making it a thick paste.
Gently scrub it on your face and wash off with tap water after 10 minutes.
Do so after every 2 days.

Lemon juice Lemon is a citrus fruit containing rich
amounts of vitamin C which is a great exfoliator.
Squeeze the juice out of the lemon and almost immediately dip cotton in it and dab it all over the acne.
It helps in reducing the breakout. You can add a little crushed sugar to
enhance its effect. Gently splash water after 10 minutes and do
it daily for best results.
