For my creative artefact, I have created 9 key frames by having my actors perform whilst I photographed the actions. After this, I selected photographs that represented a chronological sequence for my film, ‘Behind the veil’, and that demonstrated a clear narrative in support of my script.

Key Frame 1

Halima Mohamed 12Y

Scenario: Tanya and her boyfriend Luigi walk down the corridor with their arms around each other until they reach at an intersectCinematography: A long-shot and two shot is used to show the two characters and the location. This allows the audience to see the surrounding and visualise the narrative. The slow panning shot shows the moods of the two characters through how they are walking together. Mise-En-Scene: The location of this scene is seen clearly by the audience due to the surroundings of the characters. The costumes of the characters are smart to present to the audience that they are students. The lighting within the frame is dull as if it is an ordinary day. There are no props that can be seen around although their character positioning is in the centre of the frame to emphasize what the main focus is.Sound: There are faded screams of younger students that can be heard from afar to showcase the school environment.

The shot emphasizes her expressions as we can see both back and front of the character.Mise-En-Scene: The costume of the character remains as the uniform.
