AHRS India is a prestigious organization committed towards promoting research and awareness in the field of hair restoration surgery. It was founded on 27th October, 2008 by Dr. Sanjiv Vasa, Dr. Rajendra Singh Rajput, Dr.Tejinder Bhatti, Dr. Sandeep Sattur, Dr. Kapil Dua, Dr. Ashok Vardhan Reddy, Dr. Venkataram Mysore, Dr. Lakshyajit D. Dhami, Dr. Aman Dua, Dr. Ravi Kumar Joshi, Dr. Puli Ravindra Reddy, Dr. K. Ramachandran and Dr. Pardeep Bhargava. The association was based on four main objectives: (i) to promote and direct the development of Hair Restoration Surgery in India along sound, scientific, ethical and progressive lines; (ii) to foster, organize and co-ordinate training in Hair Restoration Surgery and to advise on organization of teaching programs in the field in India; (iii) to provide for and promote dissemination and diffusion of knowledge of Teaching of Art and Science of Hair Restoration Surgery amongst

members of the medical and Para medical profession in general; (iv) to create awareness and provide correct and scientifically appropriate information about hair restoration to the general public.AHRS is a constantly growing organization not only in terms of increasing memberships but also in all other fronts like CMEs and orations. The membership has crossed the 300 mark since its inception. The activities of the association have slowly gathered momentum and there has been no looking back since then. The annual conference of the organization (HAIRCON) is a well-organized and sought after meetings conducted in India. These conferences have continued to be an excellent showcase of scientific and cultural interaction between members. Some of the main achievements of AHRS India include contribution to Global council of ISHRS, Research Grants, Fellowships, newsletters and participation of AHRS members as International faculty at the conferences

Hair Transplant has been growing leaps and bound from the ages of Punch grafting to the current FUE regime, and so is the need for right education in this field. This increased demand has been very well fulfilled by scientific meeting of AHRS India - HAIRCON. Nilofer is Fellow & past Hair Transplant Forum Editor of the ISHRS, and Diplomate of the Ameri-can Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS). Most recently she was the Program Chair of the Annual Scientif-ic Meeting of the ISHRS held in Chicago in 2015. She is also the current Treasurer and Board Member of the European Hair Research Society (EHRS) & BOG, ISHRS.

Patiala is a city in southeastern Punjab, in northern India. It is

the fourth largest city in the state and is the administrative

capital of Patiala district. Patiala is located around the Qila

Mubarak (the Fortunate Castle). It was constructed by militiamen

Sardar Lakhna and Baba Ala Singh in 1763.

For over 10 years, Dr Devroye has specialised exclusively in hair restoration, which has become his passion. He uses the two FUT/FUE techniques and has even developed his own tool for extracting follicular grafts.

Dr Devroye is a member of the Board of Governors of the ISHRS, and in 2014 was the program chair for the ISHRS European Hair Transplant Workshop in Brussels. In 2005, Dr Devroye organised the annual confer-ence of the European Society of Hair Restoration Surgery at his Brussels clinic.

He is a regular participant and faculty member in various congresses and workshops around the world.

Alex Ginzburg attained his medical degree in Argentina and completed his dermatology studies in Israel in 1987.

Since 1992, Dr. Ginzburg has performed over 3,500 hair transplants in Israel. Currently his main practice is mechanised FUE, but is well versed in the skills of strip FUT as well.

He is a Fellow and former Board Governor of the ISHRS, and a very active participant and faculty member of many congresses around the world. He has personally trained numerous doctors in the arts of hair transplant surgery in his clinic in Israel

He has over 25 years of experience in hair transplant from 1990 when he began specializing in hair transplanta-tion with the Elliott-Thomas Medical Group in New York City.

A member of multiple internationally accredited medical organizations, Dr. Gambino is Past President of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS). He is a Past President and on the Governing Board of the Italian Society for Hair Restoration (ISHR) and is currently serving a three year term as president of the Italian Society of Trichology ( S.I.Tri.).

He was the first doctor in Italy to perform head-to-pubic-area trans - plantation, and he most recently pioneered chest - to - head - hair transplantation in Italy. He is also the first in Italy to use Low Level Laser Therapy in the treatment of hair loss.

Diplomate and past President of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery (ABHRS), Diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and Fellow Member of the ISHRS. He is a Clinical Instructor of Hair Transplantation at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Harris has patented a surgical methodology and instrumentation by the name of Harris SAFE System.® He is also the principal investigator and consultant for Restoration Robotics, a company that has developed ARTAS System.

He is the chairman of the Internation-al Society of Hair Restoration Surgery's FUE Research Committee, and leads the organization’s research efforts in the field of FUE. He is also the 2014 recipient of the prestigious Golden Follicle Award for significant clinical contributions to the field of hair restoration.

He is a a world renowned hair transplant surgeon from Korea who has 20 years of experience in the field. He is president of KSHRS, Past President of AAHRS Asia, Board of Korean Dermatologic Association, Diplomate of ABHRS, Recipient of Research Grant of ISHRS (2005 & 2001, Contributor of the textbook of Hair Transplantation, 4th edition, edited by Walter Unger, Recipient of the Best article award of year by Korean Dermatological Association (2003), and Surgeon of the Month, Forum of ISHRS( March/April 2003).

Dr. Kenneth J. WashenikMD, PhD, FISHRSUnited StatesHe is President and Chief Medical Director of Bosley Medical Group and the Executive Vice President of Scientific and Medical Development of the Aderans Research Institute. He is also the current Vice President of ISHRS.

Dr. Washenik is the Secretary- Treasurer of the North American Hair Research Society and on the Board of Trustees of the Hair Foundation. He is a Director of the Cicatricial Alopecia Research Foundation, Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a member of the Dermatological Society of Greater New York and the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatological Society.

He frequently lectures on the effects of hormones on the skin including their effects on hair loss and growth.

He prefers to perform only one, high-volume hair transplant surgery per day, a “Megasession,” during which up to 2,500 grafts can be transplanted.

He is an active member of ISHRS and has been a presenter at nearly all of the major international hair restoration conferences. He has visited many renowned centers for hair restoration surgery around the world and is well-known and respect-ed by his colleagues.

Dr. Ruston, passionate for his work, believes that by utilizing the available technology and applying his keen sense of aesthetics, hair restoration surgery can offer excellent and totally natural results.

Optional Day Tour Golden Temple Amritsar, Feb 27, 2017Amritsar (also called Ambarsar) is a city in the northwestern Indian state of Punjab, not far from the border with Pakistan. At the center of its walled old town is the gilded Golden Temple (Harmandir Sahib), considered the holiest gurdwara, or religious complex, of the Sikh religion. It’s at the end of a causeway, surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar lake, where pilgrims bathe.
