Drive and Pet Day at Costco.

We raised 7100 dollars in dona-

ons and sponsorships! Now as a

thank you to a great big bunch of Pet

Lovin supporters KSQM will be giving

over 700 pounds of supplies to local

animal organizaons. Your support of

KSQM helped your community radio

AND your communitys four legged

friends!

As anyone knows with capital cam-

paigns, there are going to be A LOT of

balls in the air at one me and this

project is no excepon. We currentlyhave the County Project Review in

hand which spells out the contact

people we will be working with

through the paperwork process.

Before we can begin, we need to

complete the land conversion, SEPA/

Determinaon of Non-Signicance

and a Forest Pracce Permit before

we can sell the trees and get the one

acre track down to stumpage. As for

the fundraising side of this project, I

am happy to announce we now have

three of the ve campaign chairs to

begin funding the tower. Adam Sulli-van has agreed to chair the

Community Donaons commiee.

This commiee is responsible for

displaying the donaons cards

throughout our signal area as well as

parcipang in public booths, speak-

ing engagements, etc. The two re-

maining chair posions yet to be

lled are those of the Celebrity Circle

and Tower Events Commiees. For

more informaon on how you can

parcipate in either commiee, give

me a call at KSQM or email me.

We have had several contractors from

many professions come forward to

oer their services towards this pro-ject . We are very grateful for their

interest. Stay tuned for more about

these local businesses.

One thing we all need to remember is

that the broadcast area is going to

enlarge greatly improving the signal.

In addion, the Emergency Alert/

Broadcast System area will be en-

hanced by the use of translators
