Eurobay luminaires for interior application feature a low-profile design andcan be equipped with high pressure mercury vapour, sodium or metal halidelamps of up to 400 W. Version “CD” is also available, where an additional halogen lamp will light up and operate as long as the main discharge lampcan reach its rated power at switch on.Ideal for industrial and commercialenvironments, with medium-high installation heights.Main body: die-cast aluminium body with slide-adjustable steel suspensionhook for balancing the fitting.Wiring box: connected to the main body and made from fibreglass-reinforced engineering polymer thermoplastic. The wiring box contains the lamp operating components, which are mounted on a removable galvanised steel plate.Accessed by way of a hinged door fitted with a neoprene gasket and securedby four stainless steel screws.Cable inlet: The wiring box is fitted with a nylon PG13.5 cable gland for cablediameters of 9 to 12.5 mm.Reflector: 99.85% anodised, mirror-finish aluminium reflector ideal for clearbulbs. The reflector is fitted with a silicone gasket and secured to the main body byfour screws. Designed to fit a wire guard and protective glass.Lampholder: plastic E40 version. The lampholder can be adjusted in 4 different positions to optimise light distribution in relation to the type of lampused and the installation height.

ACCESSORIESProtective glass EBV: tempered glass fixed to the reflector by three stainlesssteel clips; supplied with safety chain attached to the main body. Wire guard EBG: galvanised steel wire guard used in conjunction with the protective glass, and supplied complete with safety chain.Diffuser EBD: UV-stabilized, self-extinguishing V0 polycarbonate, fixed by 6clips to the body.

Indoor ceiling luminaires for clear bulb high pressure sodium and metal halidelamps of up to 400W.Body: cold-pressed bonderised sheet steel with white stoved polyester powderpaint finish.The two side clamps for mounting on the ceiling are fixed on top. Power supplyunit with power factor correction, terminal block and cable clamp are mountedon a removable galvanised sheet steel located in a compartment. Cover on power supply compartment fixed by two screws with knurled nuts. One side hinged, easily removable white sheet steel frame with expanding rubber gasket holds the tempered front glass (enclosed as a standard accessory) protecting the optics. The other side of the frame is fixed to the bodyby two M5x60 stainless steel screws for protection against fall.Reflector: anodised and polished 99.85% pure hammered aluminium.Lampholder: porcelain E40.Cable entry: through grommet on the top of the luminaire.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS • características técnicas

Available in two sizes: AG5up to 1000 W and AP5 up to400 W. Die-cast aluminiumballast housing, with whitepolyester powder paint fi-nish applied electrostaticallyand cured at 180°C over ananti-corrosion layer.

• • •The socket holder, joined tothe ballast housing, enablesphotometric distribution tobe set in 8 different positionsusing an ordinary screwdri-ver. Porcelain E40 or E27lamp socket according tothe type of lamp used.

Easy installation using a 3/4”NPSC threaded hub, locatedin the housing and resistantto vibration.

Ballast housing • Caja de equipo

Borosilicate glass reflectorwith total reflection prismsin the outer part, available intwo sizes: small (model 14)for lamps up to 400 W andlarge (model 18) for lampsup to 1000 W.White spun aluminium coverconnecting the reflector tothe ballast housing. Theopen version has three rec-tangular windows, whereasthe closed version has agasket to adjust the positionof the ballast housing.

Reflector support frame,made of three steel rodsand a lower zinc plated ringsupporting the glass; therods hold the glass in positi-on, fixing the ring to the top reflector cap.

Tempered protection glass(closed version only) resis-tant to thermal and mecha-nical stress. Fixed in a metalring with gasket it is fittedwith a hinge and two latchesto guarantee easy removal.

EPDM or si l icon gasket ,according to the lamp wat-tage, between the reflectorand the metal parts.Optionally, lamps up to 400W can be supplied with alarge ballast housing AG5capable of supporting a ro-om temperature up to 65°C.For higher temperaturesplease request further information.
