SAFETY RULES & REGULATIONS

Be sure that all equipment is properly working before using them for laboratory exercises. Any defective equipment must be reported immediately to the concern staff or Lab. Technician.

Students are allowed to use only the equipments provided in the laboratory and should ask prior permission for using outside materials.

Avoid any part of your body to be connected to the energized circuit and ground.

Observe cleanliness and proper laboratory housekeeping of the equipment and other related accessories.

Students should follow their dress code strictly (i.e.,) Lab coat and shoes.

Equipment should not be removed, transferred to any location without permission from the laboratory staff.

Lab cleanup (to be accomplished at the end of each lab session):o Turn off test equipment.o Put hand tools back on the pegboard rack.o Clean bench top.o Put stools under bench.
