800 & 900 waffle moulds
ATEX - The only name for in-situ ribbed floors
Atex waffle moulds have been produced for the world market for the last forty years and provide a cost effective answer for in-situ ribbed concrete floors.
Over the years the Atex waffle mould has been developed and refined to its present state.
Atex waffle moulds are manufactured in Polypropylene by injection moulding. This hard wearing material allows, with reasonable care, for the moulds to be re-used over and over again, usually over 100 uses per mould.
ATEX 800
The 800 x 800 waffle mould is available in four depths:
200, 250, 300 and 400mm
ATEX 900
This 900 x 900 waffle mould comes in three depths:
225,325 and 425mm
Atex moulds can be used with any form of support system, either proprietary or made up. Extensive testing to determine the best material, internal ribbing design and load capacity at varying temperatures has resulted in a high quality mould. They have been used in a wide range of climates and temperatures from Iceland to Saudi Arabia.

Two way in situ spanning offers greater
flexibility for interior planning and design
providing an attractive soffit finish which can
be left exposed or painted.
All the moulds are light in weight and easy to
handle. Compared with solid slab and beam
floors, savings in steel and concrete can be as
great as 60%.
