8 Easy Raw Vegan

Snacksby Dale Buchanan

Page 2: 8 Easy Raw Vegan Snacks v3

Thank you for downloading my ebook “8 Easy Raw Vegan Snacks”.

Here are some of the raw vegan snack recipes that I use most often in my diet. You can add or delete any ingredients you wish. There are no set rules. You can make these a complete meal by balancing each recipe with some of each macronutrient: proteins, carbs, and fats. Each recipe is easy to make and can be done in a few minutes.

All of these recipes have no wheat, no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts

Some of the things you will need for these recipes are: 1) high speed blender such as Blendtec or Vitamix, 2) juicer3) sprouting kit (or able to purchase sprouted grains)

Green Protein Smoothie

Ingredients:• 1 Banana• 3 cups raw spinach• 12 oz water or coconut water• 1 scoop Daleʼs Raw Greens (any variety)• 1-2 scoops Daleʼs Raw Protein

Preparation:Place all ingredients into your high speed blender, I recommend Blendtec. Blend for 20-30 seconds. I use the smoothie button on the Blendtec. Add ice if you want to. I usually just add cold water.

Notes:Daleʼs Vegan Protein will add a little vanilla flavor which is delicious. You can also add some raw cacao with Daleʼs Raw Protein if you wish.

Tip:If you want to add some essential fats try small amount of almonds or cashews for some added flavor. Coconut oil also works very well.

Ingredients:

• 1 Banana• 3 Dates• 2 TBSP Raw Cacao• 2 Cups Spinach (optional)• 1 scoop Daleʼs Raw Greens (any variety)• 1-2 scoops Daleʼs Raw Protein• 12 oz water

Preparation:Place all ingredients into your high speed blender, I recommend Blendtec. Blend for 20-30 seconds. I use the smoothie button on the Blendtec. Add ice if you want to. I usually just add cold water.

Notes:I would use Daleʼs Raw Protein in this smoothie because it will blend well with the raw cacao. In the end itʼs up to you ☺

Tip:Be sure to use Raw Cacao, not coco powder which has been processed. There is a big difference between them.

Coconut Blueberry Smoothie

Ingredients:• Water and meat from one young coconut• 1/2 cup blueberries• 1- 2 scoops Daleʼs Raw Protein• stevia, agave nectar, or coconut nectar

Preparation:Open the coconut and drain the water in the Blendtec. Add more water if needed for about 12oz total. Scoop out all of the coconut meat and add that to the mixture. Add blueberries, protein, and additional sweetener.

Notes: Check out my youtube video on how to open a young coconut. Itʼs very easy to do but does take a little practice. There is nothing better than fresh coconut.

Tip:Add ice to the mixture if you want this to be cold. Since the coconut was most likely sitting a room temperature that may be warm without the ice.

Sprouted Grain Protein Cereal

Ingredients:• 1/2 cup sprouted oats and buckwheat• 1/2 cup almond milk• 1/2 cup fruit• 1- 2 scoops Daleʼs Raw Protein• Stevia, agave nectar, or Coconut Nectar

Preparation:Mix all ingredients in a bowl ☺

Notes:You will need to sprout you own grains or purchase them. I would suggest learning to sprout them yourself. If you buy them already sprouted they will be dehydrated as well. Fresh sprouts are much better.

Tip:My favorite fruit in this cereal is blueberries or blackberries. You can use what you want. I have also tried bananas, raisins, and goji berries.

Chia Chocolate Goji Pudding

Email: [email protected] ● Website: DalesRawFoods.com

Ingredients:• 1/3 cup Chia Seeds• 2 cups water• 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder or cacao nibs• 1-2 tbsp goji berries• 1 serving Daleʼs Raw Protein• Stevia (optional)

Preparation:Mix the chia seeds and water in a bowl. Whisk and wait 15 minutes. Add raw cacao, goji berries, protein, and sweetener. Whisk again. Place in refrigerator to chill. Makes a gel-like pudding mixture.

Notes:Itʼs really important to get the right ratio of seeds - water for the correct consistency. You donʼt want it too dry or too liquid. May take a few tries to get the texture you like best.

Tip:Chia seeds are a great super food however they are very rich and high in fat. This snack is so good you will want to eat it all day long. I would recommend saving this for 1-2 times a week at most.

• I highly suggest that if you are serious about getting into a raw food lifestyle that you purchase a Blendtec or Vita Mix blender as well as a good food processor and a juicer

• Be sure not to go too crazy on these deserts as they are very right and high in fat content. All though they are raw food you should still be conscious of fat, sugar, and calories

• Be sure to check out all of our products on the website and check your email every week for new products, specials, recipes, and much more.
