Apart from this event, 1996 was host to two other historic events. The first event

concerns the debut ofX.

started his career in school which lasted over a decadebuilding an immense following. Recently X was appointed as a Special Traffic Warden

of Police in Z. His new campaign I wont HONK is his method of how to stonewall the

habit of honking without cause in Z.

The second event that year, concerns Y. 1996 marked a year of political turmoil with

the office of _____ _____ having three office holders in the same year, Y being one of

them. Y, sometimes known as Mannina Maga meaning son of soil, is highly involvedin the controversy. Y has been waging a relentless battle against Nandi Infrastructure

Corridor Enterprises (NICE), which he accuses of grabbing the land of poor farmers

with the connivance of the Chief Minister. Incidentally, it was Y who during his term

handed over the Bangalore-Mysore expressway project on a platter to NICE. without

as much as calling for tenders. Interestingly, X & Y hit their shining the same year and
