The first National Conference on “ENTREPRENEURSHIP AVENUES IN BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES (NCEB)” will be organized by Department of Biology, Lahore Garrison University, Pakistan and will be held on 18-19 December, 2019. The objective of this national conference is to disseminate the knowledge about entrepreneurship opportunities available from the platform of life sciences and its development and advancement in Pakistan through sharing innovative ideas in the field of “biological sciences”. Scientific outcomes from research academia in higher education institutes are an important source of commercially utilizable knowledge and economy of any country. However, in most cases, scientific outcomes remain untouched for commercial benefit. Biological science products provide huge potential in future to come for sustainability of human societies. Recent advances in the life sciences enable us to orient our thinking to utilize our research within existing organizations and higher educational institutes to make it more productive and more effective fulfilling our society needs. NCEB is an effort to bring together researchers working in multiple disciplines of biological origin to share how their research can prove to be avenue of business and can help to address the indigenous challenges faced by our society at present. It will serve to be a leap towards the

sustainable economy of our country. The conference will also be helpful in sparking ideas for new ventures through sharing knowledge and innovative ideas from diverse biological sciences and will pave the way for the development of marketable rearch output. Major academic highlights of event will be:

Keeping in view the importance of the subject and participation of high level notables, your participation will be highly appreciated & a great source of encouragement for us. To operationalize the theme of the conference, all participants are requested to briefly reveal in their abstract and introduction on how their research subject can relates to the overall theme. CONFERENCEREGISTRATIONRATEAll participants will have to bear the expenses for their travelling and registration fee etc. Participants will be served with local hospitality including registration folder including a copy of conference program, copy of abstract book, daily refreshments.

Participants can book local hotels available in Lahore. Invited speakers are encouraged to intimate well in time before their arrival about accommodation and flight information.

The registration fee includes copy of conference program, copy of abstracts books, daily refreshments and conference banquet. Onsite registration is also possible.Travel expenses WILL NOT be borne by the host institution.
