8 5/8-in. Drill Tech ® Casing Scraper and Bristle Tech ® Brush HIGH TORQUE DEEPWATER 8 5/8-IN. CASING CLEANING TOOLS HAL41909 OVERVIEW The 8 5/8-in. Drill Tech ® and Bristle Tech ® tools have been designed to specifically meet the deepwater challenges of delivering an effective mechanical cleaning tool and providing a connection that meets or exceeds the specifications of the workstring. To address this challenge, a split stabilizer with innovative retention design was created. Additionally, the mandrel and stabilizer designs were optimized for reduced stress concentration using finite element analysis (FEA) modeling, prolonging tool life and reducing the impact of fatigue. The 8 5/8-in. Drill Tech casing scraper mechanically assists in cleaning wellbore casings by scouring and removing scale, cement or other heavy debris from the inner casing wall diameters. The 8 5/8-in. Bristle Tech brush mechanically assists in cleaning wellbore casings by polishing and removing mud film from the inner casing wall diameters. Like the other CleanWell ® Drill Tech and Bristle Tech models, the 8 5/8-in. tools are classified as rotational cleaning tools – meaning the components rotate with the rotation of the workstring. A rotational system is required to address debris and restrictions such as casing ovality that may be encountered in downhole environments. The tools perform all the same functions of the standard Drill Tech scraper and Bristle Tech brush and can be run at any point in the workstring. Common applications include standard single-trip displacement applications in combination with other wellbore cleaning tools. OVERVIEW

The 8 5/8-in.
