    Production level decreases

    Budgeted production per day is 45000 lbs a day

    Where as high turnover reduces it by 4000 lbs a day

    In terms of financials it costs approximately 3000USD per day

    Quality of product deteriorates which results in extra1 -2 % rejection

    Takes extra time and money to get trained newworkers

    To improve Working conditions,

    Chillers may be installed in factory to bring thetemperature down

    Short break times may be introduced during summerseason

    Wages may be brought close to the competingindustries

    Minimum wage may be brought at the same level

    Some overtime opportunities may then be given tothe workers

    Increasing the wage by 1500 tk per month will resultin additional cost of tk approx 2.5 million per month

    Where as in terms of quality and production it thereis a loss of approximately 70 million tk

    Figures shows this may increase profit by 4.5 milliontk.
