Recognizing the values of surround- ings, mainly the landscape of vineyards and silhouettes of hills, contributed to design of the new building. The proposed solution shapes respectfully assert itself into the existing topog- raphy. Therefore the new building becomes representative element that is integrated into the vineyard landscape. The new building uses the existing ridges in the landscape. It has three different parts. The entrance part is shaped by the contour layer on the west of the site. While the part with workshops and art exhibition creates visible volume - “acropolis of wine”, part of the terrace creates semi-roofed space and respects existing rock. The main access to the building is situated on the north of the site because of the existing tourist circuit, where wine centre is supposed to be another point in. The organization of in- ner space is designed like the way threw the building. Besides the entrance atrium the visitor enters to exhibition of the history and production of wine. Then he continues his journey to the heart of the house - degustation space, from where he can entre to the multipurpose and workshop rooms. These spaces can be joined into the one. Interior space can be organized as a hall for concerts, wine tasting, celebrations, exhibitions, weddings or private events. From the degustation space there is also access to the outdoor open-air museum of wine and to the terrace. On the way back the visitors pass through the salon and wine shop where they can buy the wine and souvenirs. Main materials used on the building are stone on facade, concrete and steel for bearing con- structions and glassed partition walls and openings.. Furnitures are made of oak wood. The building shows the empty stone walls to the north and opens to the panoramic views over the surrounding vineyards and sun from the south.
