SCHOOL NEWS 4
As 2014 comes to a close, we look back to see all the wonder-
ful experiences the students at STAA have experienced. We
are fortunate to have Father Schneider come into the class-
rooms and share with the students our Catholic faith. He
teaches the importance of growing up to be a knowledgeable
and active member of the Catholic Church. The students at St.
Thomas Aquinas Academy not only are given opportunity to be
great stewards within our school, working with younger stu-
dents on several different opportunities, but are also becom-
ing stewards within our community, giving to local charities
and serving at the Spirit of Life soup kitchen. The Sixth Grad-
ers’ trip to Medora last fall provided the opportunity for a great
ND history lesson and some awesome class bonding. Of
course, we cannot forget that great game of broomball in De-
cember!
We look forward to 2015, learning and growing spiritually, aca-
demically and physically. We are anxiously awaiting to see who
earns the right to represent STAA at Mathcounts, seeing those
who exceed

The 2015 Eighth Grade Class
Please keep the Eighth Graders in your prayers as they will be
traveling to Washington, D.C. for the March for Life. They will
leave on Monday, January 19, and return on Friday, January
23. In addition to leading the March for Life with other ND stu-
dents (a special privilege this year), they plan to tour the Basil-
ica and the Holocaust Museum, and see other sites with Mrs.
O’Donnell and Miss Niess. They are still fundraising to pay for
food and metro tickets — if you would like to consider making
a donation to their trip please call the office at 663-6200.
