DOMINIC GHIGLIONE (Trombone) - is a first-year student at the University of Regina pursuing a Bachelor Music Performance/Music Education degree. He started playing the trombone in Grade 6 in the Regina Catholic Band Program and played through high school. He graduated from Dr. Martin LeBoldus High School in 2016. He has participated in the Regina Music Festival for the past five years, earning several first-place honors and scholarships for his performances. Dominic is currently principal trombone for the University of Regina Wind Ensemble, utility trombonist for the Regina Symphony Orchestra as well as a member of the Regina Jazz Orchestra, Bob Moyer Big Band and leads Point7 Quintet. His influences include Jaco Pastorius, Elliot Mason, J.J. Johnson, Wycliffe Gordon, Freddie Hubbard, Miles Davis, among others.

CHRIS BUCHAN (Tenor Sax) - is a tenor saxophonist from Regina, Saskatchewan. He studied Jazz Performance at Humber College but now studies Engineering at the University of Regina. He has played in the YQR Creative Arts Jazz Ensemble and currently plays lead tenor saxophone with the University of Regina Jazz Band as well as with Point7 Quintet. His influences include Cannonball Adderley, Paul Desmond, Stan Getz, and John Coltrane.

JOHN ACKERLEY (Bass) - is a Regina-based jazz upright bass player. He began playing the upright bass at twenty years-old and since then has been a fixture in any music scene that he has been a part of. In the summer of 2013, he toured Holland and a recorded a live album in Amsterdam with the Off-Pulse Quartet. That year, he moved to Victoria to study with Sean Drabbit and dedicated a whole year to studying and transcribing the bass playing of Paul Chambers. In 2014, he performed extensively at top venues in both Victoria and Vancouver and has also played in Las Vegas that spring. He still is actively transcribing and studying the jazz tradition and preforming different styles of music.

JON NEHER (Piano) - is a multi-disciplinary artist, with a focus in music and sound. His musical education came about through the local Regina scene in the exemplary hidden jazz scene where his piano skills allowed him to play with the legendary Bob Moyer Big Band and its spiritual successor, The Regina Jazz Orchestra. Jon continued to spread his wings playing with a variety of groups across diverse genres including Nick Faye and the Deputies, Orphan Mothers, and The Bureau. He also lends his musical talents to theatre and drama productions such as Tale of a Town: Regina, the monthly variety show Red Hot Riot, and Combat Improv. Jon Neher holds a B.Ed. in Arts Education and B.A. of Music from the University of Regina.

TANNER WILHELM-HALE (Drums) - has been drumming since he was 9 years old. He played in his school jazz band and many cover bands and jazz combos throughout high school. After graduating he studied Music Performance at McEwan University in Edmonton. After a year of that he moved to Regina where he plays with Bears in Hazenmore, an alternative ambient rock band he’s been in since high school. He has also played with the Swift Current Jazz Orchestra, Bob Moyer Big Band, University of Regina Wind Ensemble, Point7 Quintet and Megan Nash.

WILLIAM RIVERS (Percussion) - graduated from Dr. Martin LeBoldus Catholic High School in 2015 and is currently in his second year of nursing at the University of Regina. He started taking drum lessons at Music in The House with Jayson Brinkworth in 2003 and has been playing drums and percussion for over a decade. Some of the groups that William has played in include the Regina Catholic Schools Senior Jazz Band, YQR Creative Arts Jazz Ensemble, University of Regina Jazz Band, University of Regina High School Honour Band, Myla and The Fix, a local rock band, as well as countless other concert and jazz bands in Regina. His influences include drummers Tony Williams, Buddy Rich, Gene Krupa and Art Blakey as well as the jazz fusion bands Weather Report and Snarky Puppy.
