Consider that each 21 disc set requires 20 blank DVD-R discs and 1 blankCD-Rom disc to produce and thats a total of 2,000 blank DVD-ROMs and100 CD-ROMs required to manufacture and fulfill the orders.

Using a site such as www.dvdshoponline.co.uk (for this example there areactually even cheaper sources) the DVDs (which enable you to print directonto the disc) would cost you 30 per 100 discs so for 2,000 DVDS thats atotal of 600.

Then youd pay 10 for each 100 printable blank CD-ROMs thus meaningthat so far its cost you 610 to manufacture 100 sets of the entire package!

Next you will need Two Ten Way DVD cases for each set and also onesingle DVD case for each set, a total of 200 ten way (25 for 50 at examplesite shown) and 100 single DVD cases (10 for 100 on example site) beingrequired.

Thats a total cost for cases for 100 sets of the package of: 110 thus bringingour running total so far to 720.

Next each case will need a nice colour cover printing with each set needingthree covers (as there are two ten way cases and a one single case) so thats atotal of 300 sheets of photo quality paper required and as 50 sheets costs 3-00 thats a total of 18 for paper.

Then there is ink which when you buy your ink cartridges cheap (via ebayetc) should cost you no more than the equivalent of 10p for each cover andlets say 5p max for each full colour DVD face which you print. So with 3covers for each set and 21 discs thats an ink cost for each set of 1-35 and atotal cost of 135 to manufacture 100 sets.

Finally you will need 100 large Padded jiffy envelopes to use sending thepackages out to your customers which bought cheaply on net will cost you

around 50p each so thats a total of 50 to send out the 100 sets.

And finally First Class or Airmail Postage to send out each package will needto be paid for so lets say an average of 10 per set which is 1,000 to sendout the example 100 sets being discussed here. In truth to send to UK theywill be little more than 5 each first class but the rest allows for International

postage costs.

Add together the total of everything stated above and it comes to a figure of:1923.

That means that each set to manufacture and send out to your customer costsyou in this example 19-23p and even in this example where we areimagining you are only retailing them at 197 a set it gives you a total profitfrom each sale of: OVER - 177

So with even only 100 sales in a year (average of 2 per week for 50 weeks)and even if you were only selling them at the bare minimum retail priceallowed of 197 youd still make by selling just 100 sets a profit of: 17,777
