where do i find instructions and maintenance intervals on my Freightliner Cascadia truck?

Every Freightliner Cascadia vehicle is shipped to the customer with a Cascadia Maintenance Manual, along with several other publications including a Cascadia Driver’s Manual and an engine operator’s and maintenance manual. Refer to the engine operator’s and maintenance manual for maintenance intervals for the engine. Refer to the Cascadia Maintenance Manual for maintenance instructions and intervals for the chassis components. If your Cascadia Maintenance Manual is lost, send an email to [email protected] and we will reply sending an electronic copy of the manual.

how do i determine from the Cascadia maintenance manual when to have the maintenance procedures performed?

Cascadia vehicles are divided into two maintenance schedules depending on the number of miles the vehicle runs per year ( see Table 1 ). Schedule I (Short Haul-Transport) vehicles are those that run less than 60,000 miles per year. Schedule II (Long Haul-Transport) vehicles are those that run over 60,000 miles per year. The maintenance procedures are grouped into maintenance sets, labeled as IM (Initial Maintenance), M1, M2, and M3. The IM (Initial Maintenance) is performed once as the first maintenance procedure done on the vehicle. It is done at the same mileage interval as the first M1 maintenance set. See Table 4 for the maintenance procedures that must be done during the IM. See Table 5 for the maintenance procedures that must be done during the M1 maintenance set. The blue Maintenance Operation Numbers refer to manual group number and operation number for each of the procedures. Look up these numbers in the manual to access the maintenance procedure. In the electronic version of the Cascadia Maintenance Manual these blue numbers are hyperlinks that link to the maintenance procedure that they refer to. You may refer to the maintenance manual for the procedures that make up the M2 and M3 maintenance sets.

Performing these maintenance sets according to the Cascadia Maintenance Manual is required to insure that the vehicle is covered under the Cascadia Vehicle Warranty.
