Religious Formation at the Disciple House

As we prepare for a new year of Faith

Formation, we have decided to do all our

Religious Education and Formation at the

Disciple House this year. This was decided

after consultation with parents, our

Education Commission and our Pastoral Council.

This allows us to continue working toward a united cam-

pus and to consolidate our program in one location

Witnesses of Faith Needed

This is also the time of year to ask for volunteers to help

witness and teach our faith to our children and adults. It

is a wonderful opportunity to learn, to grow and to share

our love of Jesus. If you can and are willing to witness

Jesus and to teach our Catholic faith, please visit with

Michelle Hochrein, Don Dalgleish or Marinell High.

This is a wonderful opportunity to help our faith

community grow.

Shalom,

Fr. Brendan

K of C Corner In the fraternal year 2017/18 the Dexter K of

C Dexter will participate in a new program

focusing on the Domestic Church. The K of C is an organ-

ization that supports Catholic family life. The family is

the primary place where we experience and form our

Catholic faith. By promoting the family as a ”domestic

church” husbands and wives, parents and children, can

grow in their knowledge and practice of the Catholic

Faith. The K of C has always responded to the needs of

the Church, particularly through our charitable and social

programs. In order to support the evangelization of fami-

ly life and the Domestic Church, our council will continue

to look for ways to partnership with our parish. As the

world’s largest Catholic fraternal and family organization,

the K of C has a responsibility to dedicate our time, talent

and resources to ensuring that Council 2959 and
