The Committee for Members in Industry of ICAI has organized the unique AnnualCorporate Forum 6th time in a row at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on 2nd and 3rd February 2013.

6th ICAI’s Corporate Forum comprised of following high profile events:

1. Corporate Conclave- In pursuit of Excellence- Two days National Convention withtheme Emerging Leaders of Tomorrow’s Business & Economy- This Conventionfocused on various important topics of relevance to the members of the Institute andbeneficial in keeping them updated in this dynamic environment. Topics wereRevamping Concurrent and System Audit approaches in Banking Sector, The IndianEconomy and an Overview of the Financial Sector, Professional OpportunitiesforChartered Accountant, Role of Chartered Accountants in Co-operative & NPOSectors, Journey from CA to CFO & CFO to CEO, Forex Risk Management throughInnovative Structures, Real Estate-Role of PE Investments-India Entry and Exit,Equity Valuation strategies in global Uncertainty, Credit Rating –Challenges duringdistressed markets. 2. The 6th edition of ICAI Awards 2012 honored the contribution of CharteredAccountants across various sectors, corporate houses and MNCs in India. This AwardCeremony was inaugurated by Chief Guest, Dr. CA. K. Rahman Khan, Hon’bleMinister of Minority Affairs. Guest of Honour of Award Ceremony was CA. SureshPrabhu, Chairperson, Council on Energy, Environment and Water.

The Cultural programme was presented by Finalist Indian Idol 3, Winner "JhalakDikhla Jaa” Mr. Meiyang Chang & troupe followed by performances by AAmir Ali& Sanjeeda alongwith their troupe dancers.

ICAI Awards -2012 ceremony and the splendid musical night was cheered by theaudience in a jam-packed auditorium.

There were three main categories of awards namely; Business Achiever, CFO and CAProfessional Achiever. Awards were handed to one winner in each sub category.

The Business Achiever Award appreciated the professionals from the genre of CEO,Directors or equivalent positions from sub categories across companies in FinancialServices, Corporate, SME, CA Global Achiever and others.

Appreciating the noteworthy work by CFO’s ( Chief Financial Officer) the CFOaward category was felicitated to professionals in sub categories from sectors likeManufacturing, Financial Service, Information Technology, Media andEntertainment., Telecom, FMCG Sector, Infrastructure & Construction, Healthcare,Engineering & Capital Goods, Public and others.

Professional Achiever Award was given to appreciate managers in the early or middlestage of their careers. The sub categories included sectors like Manufacturing,Financial Service, Information Technology, Media and Entertainment, Telecom,

FMCG, Infrastructure & Construction, Healthcare, Engineering & Capital Good,Public and others.
