Get comfortableTake a good look around. You’ll notice the6D cab offers plenty of room to stretch,to breathe, to operate comfortably duringlong days in the field.

All the controls are convenient and within reach. Adjust the tilt and telescopic steering wheel for your perfect fit. Set the heater or air conditioner to your ideal temperature. Front visibility is virtually unlimited – we moved the exhaust pipe out of the way. And the clear view to the drawbar makes connecting implements easier.

You might think this kind of comfort and convenience s only found with the biggest, most expensive tractors. Not at all. The 6D Series brings deluxe comfort at a priceyou’ll find surprising.

Shift gears likenever beforeOpt for the 9 forward, 3 reverse Top Shaft Synchronized transmission with a dry clutch. It’s an economical option that’s ideal for applications that don’t require a lot of repeated forward/reverse shifting – mowing and baling, for example.

Shuttle shifting is easy with the electrohydraulicPowrReverser™ transmission with 9 forward and 9 reverse speeds. And it’s standard equipment on 6D Series Tractors.

Simply select your range and gear, then control your direction with the left-hand reverser without constantly using the clutch – ideal for loader work. It also has a reliable wet clutch design that for most applications can last the life of your tractor.

You’ll get nine forward speeds and nine reverse speeds with our PowrReverser Transmission. With a top speed of 28 km/h, you’ll move quickly from one job to the next.

Our field-proven transmissions let you shift speeds on-the-go, smoothly and efficiently.

Hitch

Lift capacity for our three-point hitch is an impressive 3150 kg (well over three tons) at 610 mm behind the lift point.

Hook up implements faster and easier with ur optional telescoping draft arms.

It’s easy to operate the hitch from thisconveniently located control console. Use the position control lever to raise and lower the hitch, then set the stop knob to your preset depth.

Just hitch and goHeavy loads are no problem. The 6D Series Tractors feature a rugged Category 2 three-point hitch with plenty of muscle to handle demanding jobs. Plus, there’s a vertical offset Category 2 drawbar to tackle the toughest drawbar loads.

Whether you’re baling, cultivating, planting or using a box blade to grade your driveway, you want your implement connections to be hassle-free. That’s why we numbered and color-coded the rear hydraulic remotes. You can make error-free connections quick and easy.

If you’re a regular user of hitch-mounted implements, simply add an optional Category 2 Quik-Coupler for even faster connections.

HydraulicsHydraulics

You can easily control the hydraulics from two Selective Control Valves (SCVs). Both are within easy reach on the right-hand console. You can set thecontrols in a detent “float” position to allow implements to follow the contours of the ground or a “regenerative” position for faster cycle times – just the thing for loader work. Also available: a deluxe hydraulic valve option with three SCVs to provide adjustable flow and adjustable detents for more.

With their 66,6 Liter-per-minute flow rate and 195 bar at 2100 engine rpm, the 6D Series Tractors are perfect for loader work.

Pour on the powerThe hydraulics in the 6D Series Tractors deliver 46 percent more flow to the remotes than our previous smaller tractor model – the 6403 Tractor. Just the kind of power you need for demanding loader, three-point hitch and implement work.

Whether you’re cleaning out livestock facilities, stacking round bales, moving large pallets, or spreading mulch, you can count on the 6D hydraulics to pour on the power.

SCVs are color-coded to make hookups easy and fast. The pressure (extend) port is on the left and the return (retract) port on the right. Valve number one is always the lowest or bottom valve

PTO PTO

PTO power for the tools you pull Bale hay. Cut brush down to size. Cultivate and plant. The 6D Series has the PTO power to efficiently handle all these demanding chores and more.

Simply connect your implement’s driveline to your tractor’s PTO shaft, press the control lever forward and you’re set to go. With this independent system, the 6D Series can handle your heavy conditions.

The PTO stays running whenever you clutch, stop or downshift to keep the power flowing And with two speeds – 540 and 1000 rpm – it matches up to any implement. That includes those tools requiring higher power within a constant power range.

Need to change implements in a hurry? It’s easy and fast here.

Controlling your PTO is as easy and smooth as operating this yellow lever. Stopping or downshifting the tractor won’t affect the PTO rpm levels.

For an extra measure of protection, we’ve designed both the PTO Lever Neutral Safety Start System and the Seat- Activated PTO Warning. Tiltable PTO shield is also standard, allowing for improved shaft hookup and visibility.

Our independent PTO system doesn’t back down from punishing conditions. It meets them head-on and keeps running.

The PTO’s dual-speed system - 540/1000 rpm - lets you operate a variety of implements such as a round baler (top right), a drawn sprayer (center right) a square baler (below right) and just about any implement you need for years of reliable operation.

Ground-engaged implements require dramatically more PTO power, and the new 6D Tractor delivers with engines that lug down for less shifting and drivelines that deliver heavy torque.

MFWD or 2WD?The choice is yoursThe 6D Series offers you a choice of two front axles: a mechanical front-wheel drive (MFWD) for maximum traction and power delivery, or an adjustable two-wheel drive (2WD) that handles lighter tasks economically.

MFWD: The Caster/Action mechanical front-wheel drive gives you more pulling power at the drawbar for heavy-duty work. Since better traction means you need less ballast, you also get less soil compaction, lower fuel bills and longer tyre life.

2WD: The adjustable two-wheel drive is the cost-effective way to handle lighter tasks. With its 20-degree axle tyre oscillation, this rugged system provides a smooth, comfortable ride – even on uneven terrain.
