Should Mobile Phone be Banned in Schools?
In the last few years, there has been an explosion in the use
of new communication technologies, including mobile phone; it is
estimated that over 70% of young people aged 10- 1 now on
mobile phone! "onsiderable debate has ta#en place in the press
recently as to whether pupils should be allowed to ta#e their mobile
phones to school!
$any schools do not allow students to bring mobile phone to
school! It is very reasonable because bringing phone to school
potentially disturb the learning process! ow, $obile &hone havecomplete 'acility such as camera, Internet, $usic, etc! (ut many
students have abuse this facilities! )hen lesson still go on the student have do something beside
hear a lesson from their teacher! )hen the teacher is teaching the students playing a game, so
they cannot concentration with the lesson, but they consentrate with the game they can*t accept
the lesson that the teacher bring! $ost of students also use a mobile phone to browsing in
internet, perhaps they open faceboo#, twitter or perhaps they open site that prohibite to open it
such as they can open it easily pornographich site! +i beside can
disturb their consentration to study! It also ma#e the student*s
morality down or damage!
+tudents go to school to learn and behave fair way $obile
&hones provide a large temptation to cheat in tests! hey can
communicate to anyone and almost anywhere in the world!
(ecause ofthe small sie of the cell phone, students can send a
text .uietly and discreety! he text can homewor# and other class
assignment! /earning in school is to behave fair not cheating!
(ased on the above reasons, we can conclude that mobile phones should be banned in schools!
)e may use the phone again after the end of teaching and learning time! )e recommend that you
ma#e use of mobile phones according to well procedures and did not deviate from ethics
