The test on this device is using water as a cooling and thermal load on the hot and cold compartment, then trying to see its performance to heat and to cool the water, as well as the partial and total efficiency. The result indicate that the performance of thermoelectric element will be maximum if it’s used for a single compartment (focused on heating only or cooling only), However the use of the heat and cool effect at the same time can create an acceptable temperature difference between heat compartment and cold compartment although the hot compartment will never reach its maximum capability and cold compartment will never shows its lowest temperature.
