Reference DOC1017 for complete operating instructions for the 6101 Integrator. After  the  integrator/Belt  Scale has been  initially  setup  and  calibrated,  the  following procedure will provide instructions for performing zero and span calibrations:    

RUN BELT EMPTY ZERO CALIBRATION: 

1. Press soft key “ZERO CAL” 2. Press soft key “ AUTO ZERO” 3. Press soft key “BGIN ZERO” 

Message  “Auto  Zero  in  progress,  please wait”  is  displayed  and  a  timer will begin counting down. When the counter reaches “0”, “Auto Zero Complete” is displayed and the zero error in % is displayed. 

4. Press soft key “SURE ZERO” to accept calibration. If for some reason you know the zero test was bad, press soft key “EXIT ZERO” to end procedure or “BGIN ZERO” to start another zero calibration. 

PRESS “RUN” WHEN FINISHED OR PROCEED TO SPAN CALIBRATION  SPAN CALIBRATION: 

1. To  verify or  change  the  span  calibration method  (Electric, Weigh or Chain), press  “MENU”  key,  and  then  press  “3”  to  select  “3  SYSTEM DATA”.  “PAGE DOWN”  to  “CALIBRATION  DATA  1”  menu.  The  current  method  will  be displayed next to “SIMULATED” [‐‐‐‐‐‐‐]. If correct method is displayed, skip to step 2 below. To change method, press keypad “ENT” key, then press soft key “ENTR”  to  scroll  through  options. When  your  desired  option  is  displayed, press soft key “SURE” to select. 

2. If  using  static  weights  [Weigh]  or  Calibration  Chain  [Chain],  apply  the appropriate method to the belt scale. 

3. Press “MENU” key, and then press “2” to select “2 CALIBRATION”. Press scroll down  arrow  to  “2.2  SPAN  CALIBRATION”,  then  press  keypad  “ENT”.  The method selected in step 1 will be displayed on the screen.ie “‐‐‐‐‐‐ Calibration, Start Belt” 

4. Press soft key “AUTO CAL”, and then press soft key “BGIN CAL” to start span calibration. Message  “‐‐‐‐‐‐ Auto  Span  in progress, wait”  is  displayed  and  a timer will begin counting down. When the counter reaches “0”, “Electric Auto Span Complete” 

5. Press soft key “SURE span” to accept calibration. If for some reason you know the span test was bad, press soft key “EXIT CAL” to end procedure or “BGIN CAL” to start another zero calibration.
