6 Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, 7 Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler, 8 Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. 16 redeeming the time, 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, "But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you... the hand of the Lord has done this" Verse 6- Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise Verse 7- Which, having no captain, or overseer or ruler Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling Be diligent to make your calling and election sure Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest. At that time Michael shall stand up, The great prince who stands watch over the sons of your people; And there shall be a time of trouble, Such as never was since there was a nation, Even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, Every one who is found written in the book. 11 Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord G OD, That I will send a famine on the land, Not a famine of bread, Nor a thirst for water, But of hearing the words of the L ORD. 12 They shall wander from sea to sea, And from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the L ORD, But shall not find it. 15 See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, 16 redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 9 How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? 10 A little sleep, a little slumber, A little folding of the hands to sleep 11 So shall your poverty come on you like a prowler, And your need like an armed man. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going. Go to the ant, study the ant and be wise!
