Sophomore Kayla Bancroft was nominated at first base and all she did was produce. The resident of Fort Ann, NY was Top 10 in the Region III in numerous categories: 43 runs scored (10 th ) with 64 hits (4 th ), 14 doubles (6 th ) and 48 runs batted in (1 st ). Helping Bancroft to those totals was a .471 batting average which was 11 th best in the region. She also had a 1.000 fielding percentage with 11 double plays. Both were the best in the region. Joining Bancroft in the infield was Elyssa LeBaron and Taylor Daniels. LeBaron made it via third base. The freshman from Corning, NY was third regionally in runs scored (51), ninth in hits (59), seventh in home runs (6), third in runs batted in (45) and fourth in stolen bases (24). Sophomore Kayla Bancroft was nominated at first base and all she did was produce. The resident of Fort Ann, NY was Top 10 in the Region III in numerous categories: 43 runs scored (10th) with 64 hits (4th), 14 doubles (6th) and 48 runs batted in (1st). As for Daniels, she tied with Hudson Valleys Courtney McDonnell in votes, having each player at shortstop. In just 35 games the resident of Watervliet, NY was second regionally in doubles (17), first in triples (7), fourth in home runs (8) and third in runs batted in (45).

Karintha Myslivecek was the Generals only outfielder represented on the All-Conference Team. The sophomore was eighth in the region in runs scored (45), first in sacrifice hits (16) and eighth in stolen bases (16). Her most notable sacrifice came against Hudson Valley in the national tournament, driving in the game-winning run against the Vikings to win the game 5-4. It was Mysliveceks only RBI of the tournament from the two spot in the lineup.

Brittany Ormond joined Hudson Valleys Allison Ford as the only two pitchers on the All-Conference Team. She was second on the Generals in wins with 10, pitching her best in regionals and nationals. Ormond went 3-1 in her last four starts of the season with four compete games and one shutout. She was second regionally in earned run averaging, only allowing 2.09 runs per appearance.

Its always an honor for our girls to be recognized as being the very best at what they do, said Head Softball Coach P.J. Anadio. They put all the time in thats required to become the best so they deserve every honor and accolade coming their way. Just a bunch of great kids on and off the field. I couldnt be more proud to be their coach.-30-
