WHO WE ARE Knox Theological Seminary is an evangelical, Reformed seminary accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the U.S. and Canada (ATS), the major accrediting association for theological schools. Eight full-time faculty members, including several of the nation’s leading theological minds and some very gifted younger scholars, comprise our faculty. Luder Whitlock, chairman of the board, has an impressive record of leadership in theological education, having led Reformed Theological Seminary, which he served as president for 23 years, from a small regional school in Mississippi to one of the ten largest seminaries in North America. Knox currently offers four degree programs, Doctor of Ministry, Master of Divinity, Master of Arts (Christian and Classical Studies), and Master of Arts (Biblical and Theological Studies).

OUR FIVE-YEAR PLAN FOR GROWTHTeach Thousands to Reach Millions includes these initiatives:• Increase full-time residential students to 500 • Enroll 5,000 students in Knox Online by 2017• Create five new Knox Learning Centers around the world• Increase full-time residential faculty from 8 to 20• Hire 75 adjunct faculty for Knox Online• Provide 751 or more full scholarships• Implement major technological upgrades for Knox Online• Renovate our four-story building to expand the Knox library, increase classroom space, enhance student services, and provide office space for additional staff and faculty

OUR ULTIMATE AIMTo reach these benchmarks, we have launched Teach Thousands to Reach Millions, a campaign to raise $20 million over the next five years. Our aim is not to make Knox Seminary great, but to magnify God and His Son Jesus Christ. What we seek is not an expanded institution but a vast number of men and women trained to meet the desperate need of a world without God and without hope. The results, measured by spreading the Gospel and glorifying God, are our primary concern.

A survey of Knox graduates from 2007-2011 found a high level of satisfaction with the skills and knowledge acquired at Knox. Some 66 percent of graduates report that after studying at Knox their theological position shifted and became “more conservative.”

Knox graduates also agreed or strongly agreed with the statement: “My faith is stronger than when I came.” They said their trust in God was “stronger” or “much stronger” as a consequence of their Knox education

GROW EXPAND EQUIPTeach Thousands to Reach Millions is a bold five-year plan to dramatically expand our global impact for the gospel by surging the number of students trained and sent out for ministry from Knox Theological Seminary. After more than two decades of growth and development, Knox is a mature institution poised for spectacular growth to meet a desperate need. Knox students receive the finest and most comprehensive seminary education available for leaders in modern ministry. They graduate with a more conservative theological outlook than when they arrived, a stronger faith in God, a deeper appreciation for the beauty and grandeur of God’s Word, and with more skill in ministering God’s grace and truth to others.
