Dr. Sebastian Baumgaertel I Cleveland, OH

Dr. Baumgaertel has lectured worldwide on various orthodontic topics including orthodontic mini-implants and cone beam computed tomography. He has published multiple scientific articles and acts as a reviewer for a number of high-profile journals (e .g. American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics) additionally he is author and co-editor of two textbooks:

· Mini-Implants in Orthodontics – Innovative Anchorage Concepts

· Self-ligating Brackets in Orthodontics: Current Concepts and Techniques

Dr. Baumgaertel is a Clinical Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Here he is the Director of the subspecialty clinic for skeletal anchorage and instructor of the orthodontic biomechanics course. Dr. Baumgaertel also maintains an active private practice in the Cleveland, OH area. In addition, he is a Visiting Professor at the University of Melbourne, Australia.

Dr. Steven Jay Bowman I Kalamazoo, MI

Dr. S. Jay Bowman is a member of the Angle Society, Fauchard Academy, International and American College of Dentists, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists. He is on the faculty of Saint Louis University, The University of Michigan, Case Western Reserve University, and Seton Hill University. He has lectured in 34 countries and penned over 120 publications and book chapters, including co-authoring/editing, Mini-implants in Orthodontics: Innovative Anchorage Concepts. Jay has experience inserting 1500+ mini-screws from a dozen different systems. He has also created several auxiliaries and appliances for mini-screws, including the Horseshoe Jet screw-based Distal Jet appliance. In addition, he is deeply involved in a prospective evaluation of AcceleDent accentuated distalization.

Dr. Frank Celenza I New York, NY

Dr. Celenza is active in both the practice and teaching of periodontics and orthodontics. Besides his private practice, he is an associate clinical professor at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Celenza is recognized for his work in the use of implants in conjunction with orthodontics. He has lectured extensively, both nationally and internationally, appearing at over 300 venues in the past 15 years. He is the recipient of the 2010 Isador Hirschfeld Memorial Award “For contributions to the advancement of Periodontology through dental research education and literature”-Northeastern Society of Periodontitis, 10/1/2010. Dr. Chris H. Chang I Hsinchu, Taiwan

Dr. Chris Chang received his PhD in bone physiology and Certificate in Orthodontics from Indiana University in 1996. Dr. Chang is a Diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics (ABO). He is author of iAOI workbook, ABO Case Reports, 3D iBooks Ortho, Jobsology and publisher of International Journal of Orthodontics and Implantology (iJOI). Dr. Chang is frequently invited worldwide to lecture on a wide range of topics, including impaction treatment, OrthoBoneScrews, implant-orthodontic combined treatment and Jobs’ effective presentations. In addition to teaching and private practice, he also founded Newton’s A, Inc. and Beethoven Orthodontic Group in Taiwan and produces a podcast series, Podcast Encyclopedia in Orthodontics, and the first 3D interactive orthodontic ebook, 3D iBooks Ortho, as innovative E-learning tools. He has been actively involved in the design of orthodontic bone screws and application.

Dr. John Graham, DDS, MD I Litchfield Park, AZ

An educator, innovator and in-demand speaker, Dr. Graham lectures worldwide to both doctors and orthodontic staff on the most advanced orthodontic treatment philosophies available. Dr. Graham is both a physician and dentist, com-pleting an internship in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital followed by training in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Following his surgical training, Dr. Graham received his certificate in orthodontics and has been practicing for nearly ten years. Dr. Graham has patented an orthodontic device, is on faculty at both the University of the Pacific and University of Rochester and serves as an editor for several orthodontic journals. Dr. Graham is a past president of the Arizona State Orthodontic Association and has practices in both Phoenix, Arizona and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dr. Neal Kravitz I South Riding, VA

Dr. Neal D. Kravitz, D.M.D., M.S., is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics, and clinical faculty and research advisor at the University of Maryland and Washington Hospital Center. Dr. Kravitz is a graduate of Columbia University and received his D.M.D., from the University of Pennsylvania. He maintains two thriving practices in South Riding, Virginia, and White Plains, Maryland. Dr. Kravitz is a prolific writer and a passionate editor for numerous journals. He lectures throughout the country and internationally on treatment planning, temporary anchorage devices, and lingual orthodontics, quickly building a reputation as one of the country's most dynamic speakers.

Dr. Joseph Petrey I Somerset, KY

Dr. Petrey received his Masters in Public Health, D.M.D., and Orthodontic training from the University of Kentucky and maintains active private practices in Somerset, Corbin, and Hazard, KY. He has authored multiple articles on TAD insertion & application and has contributed to several TAD clinical reference guides. Dr. Petrey lectures nationally on optimal TAD insertion techniques for success, as well as innovative applications of TADs, and the use of TADs with lingual appliances as well as lectures on traditional orthodontic treatment, treatment planning, and general practice principles.

Dr. John Pobanz I Ogden, UT

Dr. John Pobanz owns and operates Pobanz Orthodontics in his hometown of Ogden, Utah. He holds a Masters of Science degree in oral biology with an emphasis on bone physiology. He completed is dental and orthodontic training at the University of Nebraska and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Pobanz delivers lectures to national audiences on topics ranging from creative practice marketing, to effective practice management and team building in addition to progressive applications of temporary anchorage devices. He has recently published several case reports in Orthotown magazine 2012. He has contributed to several technique and clinical reference guides in addition to regularly publishing a column entitled “Empowered Communication” in the quarterly magazine; The Progressive Orthodontist.

Arlen Hurt C.D.T. I Atlanta, GA

Graduated from Indiana University in 1984 with Dental Laboratory Technology Degree. Started working for Specialty Appliances in 1984 to present and is currently the Vice President of Specialty Appliances. Traveled to numerous Orthodontic meetings as an exhibitor and presenter. Has lectured at Universities, state, regional and national meetings. Also assisted in Hands-On Herbst™ training for 9 years with Dr. Terry Dischinger. Inventor of the RES™ Expansion screw, Herbst AppleCore Screw, Variety Expansion screw, Herbst MiniScope mechanism and various orthodontic appliances over the last 29 years. 2008 winner of the NADL Harry Hagman inventor of the year award.
