ITINERARY DAY 1 | LimaArrive at Lima airport and enjoy a guided transfer

to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight: Lima

DAY 2 | Lima - Cusco (B)After breakfast, transfer to the airport to board

your fl ight to Cusco. On arrival, receive a brief

introduction to the city as you are transferred to

your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time

to relax and adjust to the altitude.

Overnight: Cusco

DAY 3 | Cusco (B)Enjoy the morning at leisure before your half-

day Cusco city and ruins tour. Cusco is a living

example of the meeting of two diff erent eras and

cultures. Visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun,

and the 17th century cathedral, a fi ne example

of colonial baroque art. Explore the nearby ruins

of Tambomachay, the religious centre and the

fortresses of Puca-Pucara and Sacsayhuaman.

DAY 4 | Cusco - Machu Picchu - Aguas Calientes (B,L,D)After breakfast, you are transferred to the railway

station to board the tourist train that takes you

through the Urubamba Valley to the stunning

mountaintop ruins of Machu Picchu. Never

discovered by the Spaniards, Machu Picchu was

buried in the jungle for centuries until it was

discovered by Hiram Bingham in 1911. Enjoy a

guided tour of the ruins followed by a buff et

lunch served at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge

hotel. Later in the afternoon, we head down to Aguas Calientes where youll stay overnight and enjoy dinner (included).Overnight: Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo

Please note: We suggest that you pack an

overnight bag before departing for Machu Picchu

and Aguas Calientes due to limited space on the

train. Your luggage will be stored at your Cusco

hotel.

DAY 5 | Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Cusco (B)This morning you can enjoy a second visit to

Machu Picchu (guide not included), before

boarding the train back to Cusco in the afternoon.

Upon arrival you are transferred to your hotel.

Overnight: Cusco

DAY 6 | Cusco - Lima (B)After breakfast, you are transferred to the airport

to board your fl ight back to Lima.
