Words cannot express how grateful I am for the journey serving as your pastor for the past forty-two years. When I think about how much God has done for us and with us across these years, I am profoundly grateful that He called me to this place. Inez and I want to express our heartfelt appreciation and deep, abiding gratitude for last Sunday's expression of love, gifts and kind words. We would also like to thank the Anniversary Committee and all

those who came together to make this occasion such a wonderful, spirit- filled celebration of His faithfulness toward us. It was truly a joyous day of worship and fellowship! No leader has been more fortunate than I to serve such a loyal and loving congregation.

Today, we join Christians throughout the world in celebration of Palm Sunday, the prelude to the central event in our Christian faith, Resurrection Sunday. The coming week, Holy Week, is a busy time in the life of our church. Beginning with our Noon Day Holy Week Passion to Pentecost Services, Monday through Thursday, I am asking all of you who can to join me each day in our Passion journey to the Cross. Thursday evening at 7:00pm, we will come to the table for Silent Communion. Then, on Good Friday at Noon, the Community Church at The Circle will host our community-wide "Seven Last Words" service. Later that evening, we will fellowship at our Fish Supper, followed by the Dramatic Arts Ministry’s Easter Pageant production, “The Miracles of Jesus." Then, on Sunday, April 16, we will celebrate Resurrection Sunday here at Grace with three services: Sunrise Service - 6:00am, Early Morning Service - 8:00am and Early Afternoon Service - 11:00am. We hope to see you all there!

We come to worship this morning acknowledging and celebrating the contributions of the women who serve in the Support Ministry. We are grateful for their steadfast commitment, faithfulness, and sacrifice to serve as receptionist, hostesses, clerical assistants to the administration, and door keepers of the Lord’s house during the weekday evenings and Saturday afternoons. I want to thank you for all that you do to make Grace the church it is today, and to know that your contribution does not go unnoticed or unappreciated. God bless you all!
